On June 20 & 21, 2026, the party kicks off once again during the 4th edition of the Herring Festival. For two days, Spuiplein will be filled with live music, a lively atmosphere, and fun for all ages.

Let yourself be swept away by the large open-air stage featuring live artists and bands, sample fresh herring, oysters, and other delicious dishes at the extensive food truck plaza, and experience the unique atmosphere of this special weekend in the heart of Breskens.

There’s plenty of fun for the kids, too, including a children’s fair, face painting, and a meet-and-greet with their favorite heroes. So there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
