Mark your calendars! On Saturday, November 15, 2025, the time has come: Sinterklaas (Saint Nicholas) and his Pieten (helpers) will arrive in the beautiful town of Breskens! This annual spectacle on the Quay (Kaai) is the start of the most festive time of the year and an unforgettable experience for all ages.

The excitement starts to build from 3:30 PM (15:30) as the public gathers at the Kaai in Breskens to await Sinterklaas and his steamboat. Make sure you arrive on time to secure the best spot!

 

The Arrival: Sinterklaas is on His Way!

 

Around 4:00 PM (16:00) is the moment everyone is waiting for: the arrival of Sinterklaas by boat in the harbour of Breskens. The Saintly Man will wave to everyone from the boat before stepping ashore to shake hands with all the children and begin his tour through the village.
